Design and Manufacturing II Project: Six-Legged Walking Machine

In this class, we were given the task of designing and fabricating a device that utilizes a four bar linkage to serve some purpose. I took this opportunity to not only enhance my ability to synthesize and analyze solutions to a problem, but to also further improve my CAD modelling and design skills. Some renders of the design are shown below:

Each part other than the motors, nuts, bolts, and bearings were 3D printed on my personal 3D printers (FlashForge Creator Pro, and Wanhao Duplicator i3).

The final Product of the project is shown below which received the top grade in the class and the professor (Tom Corrigan) acquired my project to have an example of what a stellar course project looks like.
